The current edition of our M+E economic report shows that the recession in the Bavarian M+E industry has further worsened. Due to a lack of orders, more and more companies have to reduce production and cut jobs.
Bavarian exports of M+E products totaled 150 billion euros in 2024, which was 2.8 percent less than in the previous year. Especially to China, there were fewer deliveries. The USA was once again the largest export market for Bavarian M+E products.
